Men’s Fashion

\"Men’sAre you a gentleman looking for the latest trend in fashion to incorporate into your personal style? Many women believe that men have very few choices when it comes to style and image. But, in fact, this just isn\’t the case. While women do have more choices than men, men continued to be able to make major mistakes in their fashion sense that communicates sloppy nature, lack of power and definitely a lack of style.

When a man wants to know what the newest fashion for the season will be there are a few places he can go to look. The first is GQ magazine where the following season will be displayed in living color in every issue. Watch for color combinations and coordination that can\’t be duplicated without purchasing designer clothing.

Men do have the added advantage of being able to use the same structured suit over several seasons while replacing belts, shoes or shirts to up date their corporate look. But, on the casual front, men also have the choice of using a sport jacket with jeans and a tie, fitted t-shirts, shoes or boots, sunglasses and even scent. Jeans come in fitted styles, boot cut, stone washed or dark wash, ripped or pleated.

The ultimate result will be a shirt, pants and pair of shoes but the real question is color, cut and style. Women have choices that extend to dresses or skirts, skin or cleavage, belly rings or thighs, skin tight or harram pants and a multitude of accessories, handbags and hair accents.

The first rule of fashion for men or women is to understand your body type and dress for it. Whether you are thin, middleweight or overweight you must accommodate the needs of your body in order to find the type of clothing which flatter you best. Once you have determined your exact body type it is now time to go shopping to find the color, cut and fit that accommodates your budget and fits in your sense of fashion and personal style.

Be sure to wear fashion that is seasonal at the appropriate time. For instance, don\’t be caught wearing sandals during cold fall weather. And especially don\’t be caught wearing them with socks! This is a huge fashion no-no that will get you noticed for all the wrong reasons.

Be sure to include skin care in your daily regimen. Men tend to neglect their skin and by doing so reflect a sallow appearance that does nothing for them. Instead, remember sunscreen when you are outside in the sun, treat your skin for razor burns or bumps and remember to moisturize when you\’re done shaving in order to give yourself that just clean and smooth look.

Your hair and face are the first thing that people will see, and while most people do not often include accessories in an evaluation of men\’s fashion, they most certainly do accessorize the ultimate fashion statement. Engage the help of a hair stylist who can evaluate your facial structure, hair type and your willingness to be tied to your hairdryer every morning in order to determine what particular hair cut and style will go best your particular image.

Consider the shoes and the attire as they coordinate together. In other words, do not wear cowboy boots with shorts and leave the corporate loafers at home when you have on a pair of relaxed jeans. While your shoes may be the last thing that people see they will be the last thing may remember. Your face is your first impression and your clothing and shoes yours last impression. Make every impression count!
