Create Your Own Vision Movie

The concept of visualization isn\’t new. It has been the secret weapon of world class athletes, multi-millionaires and teachers for decades. Only recently has the concept made it to the mainstream through the popularization of the movie \”The Secret\” and the interviews done on Oprah. But visualization is not a new concept.

Nothing happens by accident. The world-class athlete doesn\’t win the race because they didn\’t have a plan. The multimillionaire doesn\’t become rich when he did not have a plan. Everyone must have a clear picture of where they want to go and whether you do it by accident or intentionally you have a picture of where you think you are going. That picture is in your mind right now, today. If you have a specific belief about what you can or cannot achieve based on your past experiences and your self perception.

Did you know that you can change that? Did you know that you can achieve what ever you want to achieve if you are willing to put in the work, the effort and make the changes necessary to achieve it? The question is not can you . . . but rather will you – will you make the changes necessary to make $1 million? Will you make the changes necessary to lose weight? Will you make the changes necessary to find your life partner? The question isn\’t can you, the question is will you.

The movie \”The Secret\” outline specifics about the Law of Attraction. Using the concepts of the Law of Attraction you can develop a visualization movie that will guide you in your daily routine toward achieving your goals. This is not some New Age technique or voodoo practice but rather a way of harnessing the power of your mind to take the necessary actions to achieve your goals. Tied to the Law of Attraction is the Law of Cause and Effect. Without action there will be no effect, but without a desire there will be no action, and without visualization there will be no desire.

So let\’s figure out how to develop your own visualization movie in order to move you toward the successful completion of your goals.

In the recent past there has been a real push towards the development of mind of movies, those screen capture movies which identify the objects of your desire and tie them together with motivating music. The idea is that you will watch these movies on a daily basis, no more than five minutes, to help your mind focus on your goals and encourage you to take actions you would not normally take. Unfortunately, while they are a step in the right direction they are external to your body and mind in the subconscious does not always assimilate them the way you would like it to.

The better option is to develop a visualization movie that happens internally. It is a movie that you run inside your mind about the goals and objectives you have for your life. More than likely, you already do this. You probably already think about things that you either which would have been or which would not happen with enough clarity and sensory inputs that they seem almost real to you.

Think back to a time in your life where there was something you did not want to happen. You thought about this event over and over again with emotion, probably fear. And then, low and behold, the events actually happened. Maybe you were afraid of being fired. Maybe you were afraid that your current boyfriend or girlfriend would leave you. Maybe you were afraid your spouse was having an affair. Maybe you were afraid that you would lose all your savings.

Without a doubt these were not fleeting thoughts that came true but things that you thought about with emotion and clarity on a consistent basis. You are activating the Law of Attraction, but in a negative fashion. Let\’s take what you know about that and turn it into a positive thing for you and your lifestyle.

In order to develop a visualization movie which you can use on a consistent basis you must know what your goal is. You must know what you desire and know what you want to achieve. Take this information and place it into a movie format that consists of motion, sound and smell. In your mind\’s eye develop a scenario where you see yourself with the items in question.

For instance, if you want a new car then imagine that new car. However, you must be specific about it. In other words, you must know which new car you want and how you want to pay for it. Imagine that you want a red Honda pilot with the sunroof, gray leather interior and a GPS system. See yourself sitting behind the wheel of that Honda pilot. Imagine yourself holding the steering wheel and driving down the highway. You\’re pulling into your neighborhood and parking in your driveway. You can smell the leather interior and hear the stereo sound system. You can feel the leather beneath your fingertips.

This is your visualization movie. You have paid for that car with cash. You are financially free. This is the visualization movie that you will play in your minds eye on a daily basis. In fact, if you can play this movie several times a day, with emotion and include sound, sight and smell you will have even more success.

Truly successful people have \”conditioned\” their minds to believe that what they aspire to achieve is completely possible. These aspirations, these dreams and visualizations can now come true because your mind believes that you are capable of achieving them.

You are able to harness the power of your own mind to achieve the dreams that you desire. It takes only a few minutes a day to condition yourself to believe that your dreams are possible and enable yourself to take the actions necessary to achieve them.
